Who Are We?

The Gunnison Western Federal Credit Union was founded in 1963 to serve certain fields of membership in the Gunnison Community.  As a Credit Union, we are able to offer better interest rates and services than many of the banks.  We are striving to offer greater services to our members to better serve the many different needs that our members have.  We currently have 690 members and 3 employees, with an asset size of 3.1 Million. A small Credit Union striving to provide great customer service.

Who Can Join?

All employees of Western State College, RE1J School District, Gunnison Valley Hospital, Gunnison Health Care Center, Gunnison County, City of Gunnison, Cities of Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte, Gunnison Famliy Medical Center, Gunnison Family Physicians, U.S. Forest Service, U.S. Postal Service, Bureau of Land Management, Park Service, and thier immediate families are eligible for membership.

How Do You Join?

You can join the Credit Union by depositing $25.00 in a Share (savings) account.  Please stop by the Credit Union or apply on our website.  We just need two (2) forms of identification(drivers license or ID card, and social security card).
